“Organic Whispers” is composed of dense, ink-like black lines that evoke the texture of traditional East Asian brushwork. These lines weave together into an organism that seems to wriggle and breathe, forming a structure that hovers between anatomical diagram and hallucination. The overall green tonality functions like a slowly breathing petri dish, a field where growth, seepage, and diffusion unfold simultaneously. At the centre, a red, embryo-like core extends an arm that turns back and reconnects to a beetle-shaped organism made of ink lines, suggesting a cyclical search for the self and an endless return within the loop of life.

 

Beneath this veil of green, two forces—generation and decay—constantly collide. Deliberately drawn “hand-gestures” intertwine with unconscious, automatic lines, twisting, eroding, recombining, and evolving across the surface. This ongoing push and pull becomes a negotiation between self and body, and a persistent dialogue between reason and instinct. Through the method of automatic drawing, the work draws the viewer into a loop without an exit, where the boundaries between individual, memory, and body are continuously rewritten, and the rise and fall of life is experienced as a state that is always, and only, “in the midst of happening.”​​​
